This sucks. We're getting farther and farther from having Rampage back. Regardless of who's at fault here, if he doesn't fight in the UFC because of it, we as fans are the ones that lose out.

I think Rampage may want to reconsider fighting for a possible title now that rua is himself again, anyways. How can someone that doesn't know how to check leg kicks possibly defend himself again Rua? I don't like his chances of avenging that loss. rua is tailor made to beat him. Leg kicks, leg kicks, more leg kicks, over under clinch game, knees, KO.

I was thoroughly impressed by Machida's clinch and takedown defense. He wasn't nearly as strong as rua, physically, but he used his balance and agility better than I've ever seen a fighter against rua. That is the one part of his game that I believe I under rated.

Same, the cage helps alot though, in a ring he would have been finished.

In a ring he would have been cornered and beat to a pulp, but i actually don't have a problem with cages. i just think the ufc'c is too big. i hate the constant movement of the fighters to the center in a ring. cage allows more fluent activity.
