Ever since Jose Aldo came out, I knew he was about to be crowned King of the Octagon. This man was simply amazing. As effortless as it seemed, he was one man with a past that brought him to where he is now.

I pegged him to beat Brown in the second round, Then after careful re-consideration, I changed my pick to the first round. Well, Brown may have screwed up my pick of rounds, but he didn't change who the victor was. Aldo was bound for glory and Brown was the one Aldo was about to beat for it.

After learning a little more about him, and how he received that large burn scar on his jaw, it is surprising he is here today. Resilient as a man can be, Aldo is here for a long time. It will be quite a while before anyone can master what he's accomplished and be better than him. No one is near as good as he is at this point. It will be a long time, before a 2.0 version comes out.

a little bit of an oversell. aldo is awesome but if/when frankie edgar moves to 145, he'll lose. frankie won't be afraid to stay in the pocket with him and will be the far better wrestler taking top position.
